"Jason was wonderful. We knew that the DJ was going to be an important part of a successful wedding and reception and Jason was AWESOME!!! Very professional and detailed. When we had any changes - regardless of how much notice we gave him, he was extremely accommodating. He kept the dance floor packed the entire time and knew what song to play next. We had a play list with some suggested songs and then he filled in what seemed to be right for the crowd. Everyone said it was the best wedding they had been to. I would recommend Jason in a heartbeat to anyone needing a DJ for their event. I had a lot of comments from our guests about what a wonderful job he did, even our officiant mentioned he was the best he's ever worked with. I made the right choice by going with Jason. "We couldn't have been happier with anyone else. We had a great time and the music was great. I had comments all night long that people loved the music. I completely forgot about choosing a song for the cake cutting and the song that Jason choose was beautiful, although I don't know the name of the song. :) Also I was in charge of doing most of the coordination with the DJ because my fiance was traveling so much for work that he didn't get a chance to meet the DJ until our event. My fiance, now husband was so impressed with Jason and kept commenting that he was cool, chill, understanding and very easy to work with. Jason was so great, very professional and always on point. "Five stars across the board for Jason Spencer on October 4th. He was very upbeat, happy and professional. My future brother-in-law is also in the business and had nothing but great things to say about Jason - in fact, he probably bent Jason's ear all night and for that I apologize! :) When my childhood friends made a request that Jason wasn't sure about, he asked my opinion, and even was very cordial in dealing with my mother when she wasn't happy about that particular music selection. Jason was very accommodating in my ad-hoc requests for things and diligent about keeping me on track with schedules and speeches - but not in an annoying or overly obtrusive way. His smiley disposition and great attitude helped make our evening very special - he was awesome! If and when I'm asked for a recommendation, Sound In Motion will be top of mind.
I guess my best experience was two-fold - I was relieved the week before the wedding to hear that our final meeting did not need to be in person. It was nice to have a quick phone conference with Jason, saving me and my fiance a two-hour+ round trip, when time was of the essence. And, although my husband and I diligently highlighted our song preferences on the song list we printed from your website, we - scratch that, I forgot to mail it in to Jason. Regardless, he remembered my request to work up through the decades and play some rap for us at the end, after my mother had had some wine. :)
Overall, stress-free which is probably the highest compliment a bride can pay a vendor!

I wanted to let all of you know what an amazing job Jason did as the DJ for our wedding reception at Trader Vic's this past Saturday night, May 28th. He was absolutely incredible!!! Several people mentioned Jason was the best DJ they'd ever seen/heard!!!!! John and had the time of our lives at our party - and it's because we spent the entire evening on the dance floor! No joke -- we honestly did not sit down until the music ended at midnight. And we were not alone on the dance floor·. Jason had the party jumpin' the entire night!! We had a blast -- and so did everyone else. John and I could not be more thrilled with the way things turned out with the music -- and the rest of the party too· Jason's performance Saturday was in line with the excellent experience John and I had working with Sound In Motion. "Jason did an excellent job of being the MC during the reception. He kept everything on schedule so that were no "lulls" in the reception. Additionally, he was extremely receptive to my (bride) requests during the ceremony and very easy to work with the entire time.
The music selection definitely "fit" the guest demographics and many people have complimented me since the wedding about the good dance music. After dinner, Jason played a wide selection of popular dance music that encouraged everyone to get out on the dance floor. My grandma was dancing the entire time and she still says that our reception was the best time she has had in years!
Throughout the entire process, my husband and I kept saying that we really liked working with Jason because he is easygoing and experienced. He made the process fun and easy for us! He was always very responsive to my emails and voicemails. The day of the wedding he was very calm and kind. He is FABULOUS! The best part of our experience with SIM was feeling like we were getting superior individualized "customer delight" each time we communicated with Jason. He really made us feel special and was very attentive to our needs.
